Chishtia Sugar Mills Limited was incorporated on January 01, 1986 as a public limited company with the main object to produce and sale of sugar. The project was designed by HMC on the most modern lines, best available equipment was selected and reputed professionals were engaged for the machinery consultancy, erection and civil works.
The mill started Production at the end of November 1991 with crushing capacity of 2,500 tones per day. During the crushing season 1996 sponsors enhanced Plant capacity to 4,000 TCD from their own sources. With the continuous expansion and BMR crushing capacity has been enhanced to 6,000 TCD which is successfully in operation from the crushing season 2000-2001.
The mill is located at Sillanwali, District Sargodha. The selection of the site for the Project was made after a careful analysis of various factors. Being located in the District Sargodha, the sucrose contents in the Sugarcane are higher than those at any other place in the Central Area of Province of Punjab. Ample manpower is available for harvesting and unloading of the crop.
The basic raw material of the project is sugarcane. The district Sargodha has the potential of producing best sugar cane with highest per acre yield and sucrose contents. The area is well connected with the main sources of water and has potential for cane cultivation of several thousands hectares of land.
Quality Control Systems
Our Quality management starts from the raw material sourcing and guides us through out the entire production process. In order to achieve the highest possible quality
of sugar , only selected verities of cane are encouraged for plantation in the area. The company Produces high quality products and uses quality control system at all stages of production. CSML has also obtained ISO 9000 Certification, which is another step towards achieving high quality and customer satisfaction.
